RankRam, I don't have a clutch. So far the 48re is holding on. I know it's tough on it but I can't help myself. And I have 19. 5 wheels and a 3. 73 diff. I wonder it would feel like with 4. 10s and 17" wheels :--)

I love racing those little rice burners any chance I get or anything else for that matter just to prove diesels can move too. The other night on the way home a couple of young kids in a brand new mustang gt with papers tags probably some rich kids graduation come whipping up beside me. At the time we were in a 2 lane construction zone going about 45mph I waited till we got out of the construction an it opened up to a new 4 lane freeway turned the box on an from 45-110mph put about 5-6 lengths on them there just lucky the BDDL was only on peformance not extreme. Once I let off they come blowing by then exited probably out of shame or going to the Dodge dealership which was on the feeder to trade the pony for a goat.

'Fraid I drive like an 18-wheeler when I'm just gettin' around. Comes from bein' startled by the G-forces :--) when I give the old girl a kick. Nice to know it's there -- I use it when it's called for. Oo.

Left lane only and when the ricers are buzzing around with the music rattling the windows, I bump the HOT Juice up to Level 5. I dont necessarily want to race, just want to keep them right at the 5" tip. I can lay a 12v type smoke trail for at least a block half lugging the engine that way. Shame on the ones with the window down showing off there rap c##p.

LOL :-laf Good One

It's not always "ricers. " Leaving Walmart friday night in Rockingham - picking up some last minute track munchies and drinks - and I see a F350 also waiting to turn. I turn to co pilot and say, lets go get him. He replies back, no, lets go get that camaro - mid 80s body with mods. He is in front of us, we get close, he nails it, we nail it and start realing him in. Light ahead turns red, he gets over for us. Pull up next to him, I smile, look over and say, "I guess its on now. " He grins back, GREEN and we leap out and never look back. Next light, I look over, give him the wave and he turns off. That pumped us up for the rest of the night and was a great way to start off a race weekend. Man, all this talk of "rice. " The Hondas we build will kill many Goliaths, let alone my truck - but we aren't into the F&F type stuff.

Man I'm sitting here reading all these "fun" posts and I almost tear up. I won't even have a transmission back for another two weeks so I can't go play with my twins, edms, cam and TST/EZ stack for awhile :rolleyes: :rolleyes: :{

But I'll have some to add when I'm finished :D :D

KEEP ON TRUCKIN'
