Trick to removing headlight assembly?

Yesterday i installed with help Silverline dual exhausts. Today just about 30 minutes before dark I tried to remove the drivers side headlight assembly to change out my factory headlight bulbs and after removing three bolts the assembly would wiggle but would not come out so I could get the bulb out from the back. Any suggestions. Bought GE Nighthawk bulbs hopefully to help the lousy light from factory

There are tension clips on the housing. You just have to grab it on both sides and give a sharp yank straight forward to pop it loose.

Same goes for the tail light covers if you ever need to replace rear lights.

And don't forget those POS plastic fasteners holding the rubber welt seal in place. They're on the inside edge of the light assembly; closest to the radiator. It will still come out with them in, but it's easier if you take them out.
