Called two places here in town. They said it is a warehouse item. Still they cant find one. The warehouse is in Houston. Going to Dallas and mine is looking dirty after helping my dad haul hay on the dusty roads in Oklahoma. Guess I'll have to wait. Maybe I'll just tell them to call me when they get one! Why are these things hard to get?

Napa

Okie stop bye a Napa auto store and they can tell you which store has a BHAF. I purchased mine up in Richardson just north of Dallas. Here's a list of BHAF's part # and approx price.

Napa 2790 $39 or $42 forgot which

Fleetguard AH19037 $38

Cummins 3924541 $??

Donaldson ECB15006 $34

Balwin PA2820 $27

Wix #42790

When I ordered mine it had to come in from Nevada.

Have you talked to "Big Daddy"(I think that's his name?) he has the best deal by far... if one of the dealers are near you.

Since Geno's is a third party distrubuter for Fleetguad, it would be nice if they carried the BHAF too.

1) we'd all have a "reliable" source for the product

2) consistant pricing

3) no more confusion about part numbers

I don't have a BHAF yet but I am seriously thinking about one.

I did call Napa. They were 41. 80 but can't get one. Have to order it. Called O'reilly and they would have to order a wix. Both checked at other stores in the area and Houston. I will try to find the address for Smokie. Who carries Fleetgard?

Okie Go,

I have the info for ordering a BHAF. Send me a PM and I'll give you the details. I don't want to post on here because this is only for TDR members.

I have had two of the fleetguard BHAF's on order at Cummins Northwest for over a month now. They still do not have an estimate for when they will be available. I think the popularity of them has grown and they got caught short handed.

The idea that Genos could carry them is a good one as they are getting popular.

Does anyone out there know where I can get an aluminum shield that goes between the filter and the turbo?

Okie, your napa store should be able to have it in on a next day basis. Even if the Houston warehouse is out, they can transfer from both the Dallas and San Antonio warehouses, I just got a new one in for myself the other day.

Freightliner dealers often carry Fleetguard cheaper than Cummins does. Find a Big Rig parts place, preferably Freightliner.

You can also buy them from me, though I think the shipping cost will make it less of a bargain.

I ordered my filter from the NAPA on Murphy Rd in Stafford and it came in the next day. Maybe you could have the same luck with your local NAPA? $41. 80 is the price I was quoted through them as well.

Good luck.

Okie , Loop 610 east and Homestead, on the feeder, South Plains Cummins, they are open days and evenings. Thats where I get all of my fleetguard filters.
