did they make stock tips that had only 5 holes ?!?

i believe the 600 series engines have the injectors that are 5 hole nozzles

I just found that you are correct...

AND that If I put these in my truck, It would most likely melt a piston or something terrible.



I did however talk to the man that EDM'ed (thats right - EDM, not exturhoned) - John of J&L machine. I asked if he ever did a 3rd gen 5-hole 14thou injector for a guy in INDIANA. He said yep! and told me the name.



Well I'll be darned if those are 100% positively 14 thousands holes!! He confirmed that size and that he warned the guy to have quite a turbo and exh,intake,etc to cool EGTS.



Anyway, I did find out that I will NOT be able to use these in my truck as they are only for 04. 5 and above... He made me an offer to buy them (tips and all)... ...



But I think I will put an AD in TDR classifieds to make sure a fellow TDR member does not want them for some extreme purpose instead

why not just get a set of new nozzles for the injectors... ? some 8 hole edm or honed nozzles should fit the same injector body [the needle valve should seat ok on them]

I guess I thought I was being slick and saving time and money. Only to find that they are for 04. 5+. Some people have told me I can use them in my 03. Some people so dont do it... I dont think I want to chance it.



I'll use the money from these for the new tips for my other set, etc



Anyway, back to shopping for that DD clutch (Cp3 mod is this saturday )
