Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) triple disc and VB/ stock transmission

losing my transmission and cant afford full blown transmission like I want, any luck with triple disc and VB in a stock trans, I am going to put these in a new warranty trans. thanks

I went with the single to avoid stressing an already stressed stocker. I'm at 117k w/30k on my TC/VB and all is well. The weak link was low pressure and the stock TC. With the mods you have, I would only worry about locked shifts.

I went with a single disc t/c and valve body. and I had no problems. tows awesome.

suncoast triple disk and VB and no problems hear and I cant claim that I am easy on transmissions

When I added afew upgrades, stock converter starting slipping. This was at 98K miles 3 years ago.



Before it clogged the V/B, I decided to add an ATS triple lok converter. When local transmission shop said for another $500, we'll rebuild it stock for towing. They did not believe in increasing line pressures.



Anyway, truck has 150K miles now, only pulls the 15K fifth wheel, and seems to work fine still to this day. I even have slightly larger tires and 355 gears as well.



I think you'll be fine if you drive it right.
