Hi, just joined this informative website today.

Can you guys running the triple dog d/l on your 06 trucks tell me if it is setting any codes like skim key codes etc? I have not installed my triple dog on this truck yet and am curious how it is working out.

Thanks.

I have been running my BDDL for about 5 months on my 06 and have had no codes.

Thanks... btw did it do anything to improve your fuel mileage? My 06 sucks fuel compared to the 03.

Yes mine sets the 0213 code,no problems other than that.

I usually haul a 11k gooseneck and average 11. 5, on freeway about 13. 5, without trailer 18 to 21. I did make one 150 mile trip and got 26. 5 I got 715 miles on that one tank of fuel. I wish that could happen all the time, but I've been very pleased with the BDDL. What also seemed to help the fuel mileage was a Goering Bros. torque converter and valve body.

I loaded it and all works fine but it did set a P2509 code. I know what the code means and the CEL went off after 4 starts but the code still shows with the key/odometer method. The d/l doesn't see the code to clear it however. Any ideas?

Wierd. The D/L should see it. You could try the old pull the batteries over night trick and see if that does it. Turn on your head light switch after pulling the batteries to drain any remaining power from the system.

Other than that I don't know. I just went throught the whole trouble shooting guide for that code and there is nothing there that helps as far as I can tell.

I used the outlook and although it did not show any numerical codes, it let me clear the code. After than it said "no DTC's present". So I guess its is gone.
