triple dog on 03

I plugged my triple dog in a friend's 03 after we tried it on my 05 and it ran horribly on xtreme, a little better on perf. and the best on tow, although it was pretty flat on top. any ideas why it does this? ive heard of others doing the same thing

I had little success with the Triple Dog on my '03. No SOP difference between the three modes, but the Tow setting ran great. They also lied to me about the unit being untraceable. It also set a code that couldn't be cleared until I got the Smarty.



It was kind of flat, especially compared to the Smarty. It does, however, stack wonderfully with the TST standard program. The numbers in my sig came from that stack. BDDL on Tow and the TST Standard on 7x7.



I did have a SPS66, FASS, and a couple of othe supporting mods.



Perhaps you could try a newer update if available? Also, the horrible running could be caused by the lift pump not keeping up with the demand for fuel. Does your buddy have a stock lift pump?

No noticable difference on the settings on my 03 either. I ran it in the tow mode, it did improve mileage slightly both empty and towing.
