Competition Trophies or pay-outs????

Hey competitors, which would you prefer if you have travelled the distance for a pull or drag race?

I just priced really nice trophies for Thunder in Muncie and the cost sure could buy plenty of broken parts.

I have my feelings, but I wish to have a consensus from those that compete with their trucks.

Trophies don't pay the bills, and clutter up the office.

As stated money is very nice, but I'd like a certificate with it, otherwise it's just your word, which some knuckleheads always dipute---



trophies are great---



whatever is for the taking is OK with me--but which one to vote for---



if it's $50 or less= trophy

$50 or more= money

Some type of trophy would be better for the sponsor of the class also, keep their name in lights forever, so to speak.



Plaques or framed certificates would not be bad, in additon to CASH.



Ward Burton, you just won the Daytona 500, would you like a million dollar trophy, or a million in cash?

So a plaque and a nice check. Maybe have the plaque announce the purse amount?

Plaque + money would be my vote.

Plaque or a small trophy and a good check, that sounds good to me. No $$$ amount on the plaque, that's not necessary. "2002 Thunder in Muncie Truck Pulls", or "2002 Thunder in Muncie Drags"

"First in class" , "Second in class", etc.
