A good battery in a fully charged state should be good for 3-5 months, or more. Charge it and let it sit.

My lifeline AGM’s will be at 13.1V after months of no charge.

What about a solar charger and controller? I would think that this way it would maintain without worry of timer or power supply. Not cheap, but if it will maintain solar system batteries, will maintain truck batteries. Just another option. I've been using a HF smart charger on DW SUV in winter storage mode with great success! See has been down with broken ankle for the past 12 weeks and not driving her vehicle. Voltage is holding at 13.1 -13.5 volts! JM2C.

Not a bad idea. Will check out cost of solar chargers. I guess I could do a weekly charge. Battery sits through desert summer, 5 months of lots of 100 degree days, I think that's the killer more than anything. Will see how the AGM holds up.

I keep the quad plugged into one like this all year. This is much cheaper than similar HF chargers. I have 40 watt panel, but this 25 watt is plenty to keep the battery charged.

I installed a 7W PulseTech 12V Solar Battery Charge on my 2017 3500 Ram truck to keep my batteries chagred and desulfated. PulseTech technology utlizies two circuits, one for charging and the second for pulse charges to remove and prevent sulfates from forming on the lead plates. The charger and controller work with all lead acid batteries including flooded, AGM, VRLA, Gel and flooded cells. They designed these units for the military and calim to increase battery life by 2-3 times.
I mounted my 10" x 12" panel on the bottom side of my Trac-Rac using T-bolts and ran the wire down the support, out a hole in the bed, along the farme to the controller mounted inside the engine compartment, just in front of the firewall on the driver side.
Panel and hardware cost $210, (optional) hard anodizing $220, material and polishing $0.
