I blew the fuse for my brakelights and I am having a hard time finding a replacement. The fuse is located under the hood in the power distribution center. I have never really seen a fuse like this before. It is square and about as big around as a AA battery and about half as long. It has a clear top where you can see inside of it. I checked Auto Zone and they did not have any or seem to know what I was talking about. Is this a dealer only item? If not is there a name for these types of fuses?

Keep looking.............

Check some other parts stores. I recently had to replace one of those and found them pretty easy.

I'm not impressed with A-zone. They are definanty geared for the ricers. Tried to get a t-stat from them once. The one they gave me was way to small. It was the only one that their book listed. Almost anything else I've ever needed they didn't have or have a clue what it was I was looking for.

I blew one a couple weeks ago, I went to Checker Auto first off and they had'em. Mine was a 40 amp (green). I've also blown the 20 amp (small rectanglular yellow) for brake lights plugging in a wet trailer plug. That one is in the box by the door jamb. Those are really common at stores.
