I crawled under my truck just now and noticed that the back of the transmission where the drive shaft enters appeared to have oil leaking from around the soft rubber bushing that the drive shaft fits into. The oil had coated the back 2-3 inches of the case, but only lightly. When I rolled to the passenger side of the truck, I could see that it appears to be coming from a 1 inch tube with a loose fitting cap on the top rear (pressure valve?) Is this normal to blow out a minnimal amount of oil under normal conditions? Or should I be going back to the dealer to be inspected? I just turned 12,000 miles on the clock, and tow with it about once a month. Any help is greatly appreciated,

Thanks, Sarge

 :--)

Mine did the same thing, now over 50,000 miles not any worse. The thing on top is a breather, make sure the cap moves freely. If the tail starts to drip I would take it back.
