Hi gang,

Well, winter has come on with a vengence here in Michigan, so I have put up the '92 W250 so the salt wont eat her away. In doing so, I changed the oil and filter, but as I poured the waste oil into the jug and came to the bottom of the pan, I noticed some speckles of green antifreeze/coolant floating on the oil. Not much mind you, like someone had taken a paint brush and "flicked" it at the drain pan, but enough to make me head in and do this post. Any ideas, suggestions, comments. How much sleep should I loose tonight???

Thanking all in advance,

I would start watching your coolant level like a hawk. Also, I don't know how much of a "girl" you are about your truck, but I am pretty much nerd like in apperance when around mine :D. My point is that when you shut down your engine, pop the hood and listen for a minute or two... . if you hear a lot of blurping, you might have a head gasket leak.

Other ideas,

Do a search on here for oil coolers. It seems that some times they go, and the coolant and oil exchange zip codes :(. Either way, good luck :D
