Trouble starting engine

My 06 with a manual started to give me trouble starting up this afternoon. When pushing the clutch pedal all the way in and turning the key nothing will happen except for the radio and accessories to turn on. However after slightly letting off the pedal and then turning the key the truck will start and run fine. No codes and all standard gauges appear normal. What could be the problem? Of course this happens when the odometer just turned to 39K.

There is a starter safety interlock on the clutch to prevent the starter from engaging unless it is depressed. Sounds like the switch is either failing, or perhaps loose/out of adjustment.
