Truce Declared in Transmission Wars.

A truce has been declared in the TDR Tranmissions Wars, according to sources close to the fighting. DTT Stalwarts, and ATS Rebels signed a truce at noon today (GMT) promising to only speak POSITIVELY about their own respective Transmissions, and to stop flaming, bashing, cursing, trashing, and otherwise bad-mouthing any fellow TDR members who posted joyous feelings about their Stators or their Lock-up Clutches. All fondling of Torque Converters is to be allowed under the signed agreement, but that's all. No name-calling, no beating up on other hapless TDR guys because they love their trans upgrade is to be allowed. All who agree sign below!

bummer, the transmission threads were about the only intersting threads left since sled puller and don m quit arguing over oil, i guess well have to start another clutch war now to get some entertainment on here. lol

Gene has been tougher to catch lately He is turning into a very smart fish no doubt. We mostly argue in PM now. Matter of fact, we are going back and forth now over oil, clutchs , and other things in PM. He keeps my inbox full

I just realized there was no winning an argument when the other side does not care about facts or truth, just bashing.

Sort of like Liberal Democrats!

And I did not want banned again for sticking up for what I believed IN!



We tried the clutch wars, but noone wanted to listen to facts either, it was all assumptions, from guys who had never even SEEN good clutches, much less drove one, and guys who posted,--

Unfortunantly me and Gene have the same political views for the most part so..... Political stuff will be boring.

These things I remember from my youth. Waynes World was VERY early, but Bevis and Butthead were right in the most impresionable time in my youth, high school.



Anyways, I hope that you transmission warriors, just do what Gene(Sled Puller), and Don do, settle it behind the scenes, because as the "#1 resource for Dodge Diesel Trucks", we have something to uphold to. The wars that go on in the transmission threads, do nothing to help people come to this site to look at and say, "Well these folks get pretty up tight, but this OTHER Dodge site, they are all friendly". I think that is the point RR was trying to make.



Can't we all just get along?!?
