Truck almost stalled coming off the highway today??

Was coming off the highway tonight from a 27 mile drive (All Highway) was slowing or coasting down the deceleration lane, it was late and I was the only one approaching the intersection. I’m almost to a dead stop when the traffic light turns green I go to lightly give my truck some pedal and for a moment the engine quit or stalled and then everything was normal? I don’t know if some of you have accidentally went to turn your truck off, but then didn’t turn it off or the key all the way off and the engine sort of quits then fires back on? Well that’s what mine did but I didn’t touch the key. I was having a stumbling problem a over a month ago where my truck would only run right on with fuel additive, I changed the fuel filter out, and gave her another healthy dose of Powerservice and it’s been 4 or 5 full tanks of fuel without additive and some 1400-1600 miles without a hiccup until tonight. Anyone got any suggestions; it’s getting more and more annoying.

Could it be early signs of lift pump checking out? Is the '05 lift pump in the engine bay or in the tank? Sounds similar to what mine did when it failed.

Mine did the same thing 20 minutes before the lift pump failed. Any trouble codes?

No trouble codes, No Check Engine light either. I think '05 models have the in-tank pump.
