(this week has been very exciting for me)

driving home for lunch today... . and i look over my shoulder to see what was radling... . next thing i know i'm off the road (the road has a steep hill on the side of it) :( i saw in front of me a ditch and a big tree :--) i turned and nothing happened. . slamed the brakes (i left rubber on the road) only the left side grabbed (on the road) well right before the ditch i tried one last time and she gabbed that wet grass and on the road we went!! i pulled off the road to see if any damage was done and to gather myself (i almost died!! :{ ) none was done

i was going i figured bout 40 when i was off the road and wouldn;t have had much of a change to slow down before the tree..... what would have been my chance of living????

and any one out there... . what was the fastest you got hit or hit something (hitting a tree would be nice to know) i just want to know how much impact these things can take (i know alot) any help would be nice (my g/f [yes i got one know] wants to know the most :-laf

P. S. i lost my 2nd hubcap driving home today :D

Hmmm..... I'm not going to admit to any "wacking" ... . that's my story and I'm sticking to it..... get it... . sticking... :D:D:D

Ok that was bad ... sorry, it's late. . :D

BTW I still have 4 brand new Hcaps in the basement.

pb.

I can't say what type of impact our trucks can take.

But I hit a tree one time at 35 mph in a 64 Impala. It hit on the right side inboard headlight. The tree stoped chewing on the car about half way threw the battery. The bad part is chewing on the steering wheel. The one I have tasted wasn't to good. :-laf

Glad to here you missed it.

BTW the Impala broke a tie rod end. Road turned, car didn't. :-laf
