Attention: TDR Forum Junkies 
The new dealer has returned my rig. They looked at the history and I was able to show them the problem. They said they found a leak in the High Pressure line coming from the PS pump. So they replaced it (again 2nd pump). I have had the truck back for a week and lo and behold... . the problem still exists. The new pump seems to have helped a little, maybe the leak was letting in air. But just last night when I was trying to back up the trailer... no go on the steering untill I rolled the truck.
I give up, this will most surely be the LAST Dodge product I ever buy (this was my 3rd Dodge Cummings), and I will likely have a for sale sign in the window before 30K miles. I just don't have the time or energy to fight the manufacturer on a problem they admit exists but arefuse to do anything about.
