I spun a bearring in my rear end and distroyed it. Does any one know where I can get a replacement.

The 3. 54 ratio is the commonest of the Dana 70s. There are other options as to what you can use. That is if YOU can change the spring pads on a Ford or Chevy axle. I think you ought to be able to find a Dodge application axle at a salvage yard somewhere near you. I have bought them for as little as one hundred dollars. Just depends on the supply in your area.



There is a Chrysler 9 1/4 axle under some of the later Dodge vans that has a wheel hub for eight lugs. These axles can be found with ratios from 2. 9 up to 3. 73. If you only use your truck for transportation, you would find it quite satisfactory.

My first 90 W350 had a bad D70, being cheap an in a hurry, I took a Ford D60 an changed spring perches. Had to get a special U joint to make it work. Towed 5K - 8k many times with no problem. I also have a 91 D250 chasis that was used by a full time trailer puller with a ford axle. Not a D60 or D70. Like most things its a matter of your time or your $$.
