Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Truck bucking?

My 01 feels like it bucks between 1600 -2000 RPM under load it has slowly gottin worse over the last 10000 miles now feels more like miss especialy pulling . Fuel pressure never goes lower than 10 but i do have 22 at idle use to have 27 ,is that to much? No codes just worries of pump failer only have noticed in 6th gear.

You sure your filter's not plugging? The pressure seems a little high too (nothing to do with the bucking though). Most are trying to get fuel pressure to around 15psi at idle.

If everything else checks out the bucking could be the start of injector pump problems. Mine started bucking and surging before I found a code but kept running for several months.

i have another carter fuel pump by tank with pre filter ,which i should change but just haven t . been to cold to even wanna drive it lately here in mn since only drive 8 miles to work . But goona do it this weekend have to haul another truck have to see what happens then. thanks

Yes mine has been doing that since it was NEW does it from 1100 to 1275 rpm. Has done it up to 2200 under near full throttle. Heavy throttle helps just can't drive it below 1400 rpm. (They tell me that I shouldn't drive it at that low a RPM) Are you able to get to a dollarshop that ( can there drb into a ahhhh scanner) most don't have the parts anymore and of coarse they didnt' tell me any of this when I was in multiply times to have this problem looked at) Sorry can't remember the name of it right now. Or can do you have access to an osocilloscope ? I have some very interesting wave forms that should not be where they are no wonder the engine is gutless! Someone else had scope waveforms of his apps and other parts. You have the million dollar problem also. Changing the ECM, vp-44, alternator, all the different sencers don't help, batteries also. I think that it is the PCM. But ran out of money before I could change have that changed.

UMMMM Thanks would have to find out if it is compatable? could phone the local dollarshop. ? Was that a Ecm or pcm the former I think? The new ecm didn't fix the bucking just lightened my wallet $3000. 00 plus dollars don't remember how much for labour now.
