Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Truck Dead Wont Start Need Help

This thing has run perfect put a new vp44 on it and a fass 150 the only code is 1693 not sure what to do. . 573 578 5000

ask Diesel Dan, the fass may be causing the hard/no start. only a guess and not a bash. only trying to help

Bob should know this but we have fixed sooo many trucks with your senario. All you need is a Smarty for 2nd gen. and you down load any program that the smarty will have for your truck and then you put it back to stock. What this does is reflash the ECM to the very latest program that Dodge has released. This has fixed many starting problems and is usually associated with the Fass system that you already have.
