Truck had me worried today

Took a load of scrap iron to the salvage yard. Between the 5 or 6 trips across the scale and sitting idling throwing junk off the trailer the truck started to idle funny. First sounded like a hiccup. Then started to get worse, was starting to realy wonder if it was going to die. It was stumbling like it was sucking air or water. Would must cut out for a few revs. If I sped it up about 50 or 100 rpms above idle it was smooth as ever. Even drained the filter canister in case it was water. Still acted up. It started fine, and ran fine after that and the rest of the day was fine. Put on another 100 miles since this morning now problems. Anyone have any idea what could of been going on? Had my cousin with, and he kept saying how is duramax didn't do that, I kept asking him if it pulled the hills like mine did and then he was quiet. Thanks for any ideas, Tony

Did you happen to check your Fuel filter canister for water? Or maybe your fuel filter itself is staring to get clogged up. I dunno. . just the first thought that popped into my head.

TPS amiss

Maybe you meed to clean and relube the TPS connection, or heaven forbid, maybe it is on the way out. :{

TPS

I was also starting to think the same thing, TPS. Anyone had problems with this? Is it expensive or hard to replace or clean? Its been fine today hopefully no more problems til I can find out more about it.

I also drained the water drain while it was doing it and it made no difference, the filter has 10k on it, will get changed next oil change. The post filter fuel pressure was 16 psi the whole time.

Cleaning TPS

I took the cover off of mine, then unscrewed the unit and..... It is purley an electronic gadget. I just sprayed some electrical parts cleaner in the plugs, added some dielectric grease and reassembled the whole unit. I was experiencing no problems, I was just playing Roy Rogers and headed it off at the ... . TPS.
