i was crossing a river when i fell into a hole with the left front tire, like five feet deep, i immediately shut the engine off, the cab started to fill with water on the driver side, but didnt make it over the center floor pan, i opened the hood and the air filter was out of the water, the driver side head light was completely under water, i called a friend and he showed up within 30 minutes but his truck couldnt pull mine out with it shut down so i started it up to help him pull me out, i was getting a little worried and then it started coming out so o opened the door and let the water drain out, i did a quick check of things and all looked good so i drove it home and pulled the carpet for cleaning and drying, at first i had 8 codes, but after unplugging and drying everything they all went away, now my fog lights dont work and i have an intermittent miss at low idle with no codes ??? i put the programming back to stock and it is still there, not sure if i should drive it for awhile and see if it goes away or drop it off at the dodge dealer and let them make it worse. :{

Must of been a good size hole your truck sits about 10 inches higher than mine. I used submerge my 05 frequently going down the river and never had any problems, the main thing that concerned me was the PCM mounted on the side of the engine, I would make sure there isnt any water in the plug connection there.

Stupid question ... did you drain any water from the fuel filter housing?

not a stupid question, right after i posted this i found water in my tank, thankfully the fass is catching most of it, i will be cleaning the tank on saturday, it is mostly empty already, also there is a sled pull on saturday afternoon so i better hurry:rolleyes:
