I am pretty excited to spend time getting familiar with it. It looks like the inside of an aircraft cockpit! A far cry from the '01.

Hope to make it to May 'Madness to help get better acquainted with it.

very nice looking truck! With a Laramie you should have a 2 speed fan for ventilation in the seats and power tow mirrors. that will be nice.

I would really like the fan for ventilation in the seats.

You will be very happy with your truck,I went from my 03 to a 13 and what a difference in all aspects.Picked up in Denver last weekend, wasn't 20minutes and I was loaded with 3500 lbs. of bentonite for my pond in northern AZ.Very impressed with power curve/torque/aisin.What great experience this truck has been so far!!Big thanks to Joe Donnelly for your help finding truck,I owe you cold beer!!

Alan, now you need to update your signature! Send in your MM registration this month and in exchange for bringing your new Ram to MM, you can have the early bird $47 cost.

A BIG thanks to you all helping me decide to move on this rig sooner than later. TDR is my go to source and this forum hasn't steered me wrong.
I am looking forward to getting the hitch installed and pulling the trailer.

Tons of tech toys on it. It'll take me the rest of the winter to figure it all out. Good thing the seats are heated and Sirius FM is on board. I just need to stock up on snacks while I am learning my way around;) Did I mention how big the cab is?

I did. Went in with my spec sheet to get the pricing down prior to ordering. The had this one with Aisin in their order que and it had everything on my with the exception of a block heater. Right down to the color.

I almost bought a DRW w/max tow package from them but the payments would have been too high for me. The trucks are nice inside, I had an '11 for a little over a year. i will keep this truck for several years and when I am ready to buy I know what I want. Congrats with the truck!! Nice color!!

The block heater is no big deal. It is already in the engine block. You can buy the cord from Geno's. Do you have the hitch prep option? Either way, B&W has excellent hitches, fifth wheel and gooseneck. Their 3500 is for use with the 1314 gooseneck, and the 3600 plugs directly into the factory four-corner mounts if you have the prep option.

How does the B&W compare to the Reese? I've used their 16k
Slide hitch for over 10 yrs and it has been great. It will go with the 01. I have it sold and so I
I am will be in the market here soon, to make ready for spring camping season.

Check behind your front bumper My block heater cord was there already all hooked up. It wasn't on my build sheet so it was a nice surprise.

If the truck has it, it will be tied up just above the passenger side tow hook inside the bumper. I had to hunt for mine and finally had to google it and then found it. Owners manual says nothing to help.

B&W is very high quality and all made in USA (Kansas). I also like that it leaves the bed smooth to carry plywood etc. when the Companion 5th wheel hitch is taken out of the gooseneck receiver. Go to their website, www.turnoverball.com and click on the youtube icon at the top right. There are good videos of features and installation.
