You gotta know how to do wife-speak. Don't talk about cost, just savings. lol. Right now you can save $8000-12,000 on a new leftover 2013 vs. sticker price. I will even help you find one in her favorite color... I got my 2013 in July and thought I got a good discount--well, I really did, but the savings today are fastastic so long as you like the ones out there still. Certainly you can get the important stuff, which for me was 3500, Cummins, Aisin, etc.

Joes on to somethin here, after Joe located 3-4 trucks I let my wife look at them to tell me what colors she liked, after this it was easy to work the deal.I do have a great wife and she was all for a new truck. Then I told her Joe wanted us to go to Maymadness and her response was when do i need to be ready. So I will be there to see alot of old buddies and learn about my truck.

How does the B&W compare to the Reese? I've used their 16k
Slide hitch for over 10 yrs and it has been great. It will go with the 01. I have it sold and so I
I am will be in the market here soon, to make ready for spring camping season.

There is no comparison. Look at them side by side. Never see a damaged bed with a B&W but sure do see a lot with Reese.

As Joe said 100% USA MADE.

Got my new rig home. Haven't had much time to look it over. I guess I have plenty of time for that now.
I got a pic of both trucks while I still have the old one. The guy who is buying it plans to pick it up on Monday. It's been a great ride!

I've been reading up on the B&W hitches. I'll be checking here to see who carries and installs them.

When I got the new truck I spent quite a bit of time in coveralls crawling around under the new truck. Lots to look at and LOTS of nice improvements from the previous gen trucks. With almost 10,000 towing miles I still have to lay on my back under the truck every so often to just marvel at what a great rig we have.

That's great,I got my crawler out and did the same thing.Lots of new improvements, all us diesel heads think alike, enjoy the new truck!!

It's a sure sign that we're getting old.... Was a time that we'd spend as much time under our ladys checking things out as we now spend on our trucks....Lol

The first thing I did was a complete underside inspection, took lots of photos. What a machine! Crawled away very impressed, big changes over my 98' 3500 DRW.

The underside is the first part of the truck I looked at before I signed on the dotted line. As you said VERY IMPRESSIVE. Wait till you tow a big load with it.
