Truck is going boing boing boing - What shocks do I need?

Truck is getting too bouncey for my likings!:-laf Need to get shocks. What are the best to go with? Went to dealer and they say no longer serviced. Went to NAPA and they have two options. A OEM replacement and a HD Gas Grande shock.



Anyone have a recommendation besides a Ranchero?

Geno's carries them. Can't think of the brand name right now. They ride good, handle good, and last forever.

Bilsteins! I put them on the front of my truck and it rides sweet! I got them from E-Shocks on the net, $120 for the pair.

Yep, Bilsteins it is. The OEM shocks on my '01 Ram were worn out at around 65,000 miles. I put a set of Bilsteins on it and they are still good at 350k. Probably not as effective as when younger but still satisfactory. They don't seem to wear out.

I would have to also say Bilsteins. My son put them on his 94 that he plows snow with and is very impressed with them.
