I am lost too. However the dealer did do a new PCM update but was told that the PCM has no real effect on driveability issues.
The also reflashed the ECM there were no new updates from the last time. Was also told that sometimes the new update are not always the best thing to do. But they can not go back to the original. (I have also read that somewhere on this site. ) If I need to replace the ECM should I go with a catcher that I have been reading about? Dodge tells me it big money to replace the ECM
I was told today that the check valve in this pumps are not new with the pump and therefore I have the same valve that came with the orginal pump. I am head to replace it now $21 from cummings. Would this cause a problem?
Also headed to recheck lines, tank, and fuel pressure.
Batteries are good and grounds were taken apart, cleaned wire brushed and reconnected.
(All I need for Christmas -- a running truck, fuel pressure gauge, an aftermarket fuel pump... ..... )
