Went out this morning to start the truck before I left for work. Overhead said it was 9 degrees. Truck started fine ran about 30 seconds and stalled. Started it up again no problems ran 15 seconds and stalled, Tried one more time bringing the RPMS up to 1300 and it ran 15 seconds and died. Figured for the hell of it I would drain the filter. Did that, cycled the key twice and it fired right up and has been fine ever since. Injectors are a little noisier than usual but am attributing it to cold weather. Could this be a classic case of gelled fuel or water in the system freezing ? I have been using them same station to fuel up since I bought the truck and have never had any problems. It has a high turnover rate. Thinking about addin some anti gelling additive, any suggestions? Truck is plugged into a timer for 5 hours beefore I leave.
Any suggestions or fixes for this problem is much appreciated.
Thanks Mike
