Truck locks

My friends 04 CTD locks all the doors when he closes the door and walks away. He has to be carefull to always take the keys with him or he is locked out. Anybody know if this can be programed out or is it a freak truck.

It's Frankentruck!!! Seriously, that is a problem, not a mis-program. It is not supposed to do that. You can program it with the instructions in the manual, to unlock all doors with one press of the unlock button. Tell him to get it checked out and fixed before he does get locked out.
