Here's the deal, I was in VA Beach this past week and everything was fine on the way up and actually got about 20 mpg with the 315's and cruise set at 82 mph. Well, my friend wanted a "ride" with all the power and so I gave him a few runs and all still seemed fine. Later that evening we were going to Captain George's and I noticed that if I stepped on it and then kicked it into neutral, I could here an abnormal amount of valve clatter for about 3 seconds and then it would quite down.

Yesterday on our way home we stopped at a citgo to get fuel and half way full the pump started to slow down and eventually stopped. I asked the cashier what was up and she said they had run out of fuel. Well, right away I was worried about the crap at the bottom of the tank but it was to late by then. Then on the way home my fuel pressure went from 13psi to 10 psi cruising speed. Not only that, but my truck started stumbling and losing power. Today I filled up at a local truckstop and added some fuel power/water-removing additive. Still no improvement. It idles just fine and smooth but when driving it has these mini-stumble jerks that kinda seem like a trailer in tow!

What's going on? I know I need to change the fuel filter but tend to think that it's more than that.

I also have the 0607 code that TST claims they never heard of!

I changed my fuel filter and everything is still the same. Fuel pressure still down to 10psi and the stumbling is there. I'm wandering if it's the pusher pump or the TST. I've got an extra pump and will install it tomorrow and see if that works. If not, I'm going to take off both boxes and see what happens. I'm really confused!

The code 0607 on an 03, I see you are an 04, is "ECU internal performance. " If you are not an 04. 5 the codes might be the same as on an 03. I really don't know what that means, but it sounds like your main brain burped. Better get it scanned.

This happened to me and I had to dump the tank due to the water in the tank. No matter what I did the water kept giving me a problem.

Wouldn't my "water in fuel" light be on if I had water in it? I added some water removing additive but to no avail. I still haven't tried the other pusher pump and removing the boxes. That'll be next. I'd think that if there was water in the fuel, it would stumble quite a bit and I'd really be able to feel it on hard acceleration. Right now acceleration is smooth but just not as strong as it was.
