How many people name there trucks or talk to them? It sounds weird but I know some people do. Like on Days of Thunder, when Harry is building Cole's car, he talks to it. I was told it's bad luck to curse at my truck or race jetski (bad Karma).

My dodge is names Storm, my blazer is named Chunk, little ford escort DD is names Eggs. in my eyes trucks are guys, old muscle are girls anything else is ether or. i mostly yell at them when bad and wash them when they do me well... . yeah, i know... im odd... . nothing new to me.

My 01 was Taz and my 05 has not been named yet, hmmm have to think about that one... And my trucks are guys, because they both have really big b... well you know...

My truck's name is "Betsylew" the same name of my trusty M-60, when I was active duty. They both have saved my @$$ several times.

My 01 is named Diesel Dog since the day I bought him. Then I bought a 95 cady for $3,300. 00 and I call him Cash Money, since I payed cash money. They are both know by all my friends as this.

My kids call the truck "Cujo" because they say it growls, referring to the different sound of the Cummins as compared to my previous Duramax. Jeff

My '85 chevy 1500 was Emili, and the '84 chevy 2500 was "The Hooptie". The '98. 5 Cummins was "Phantom 309" for a bit, but is now un-named.

My truck is called BIGRNYOU - relative size to the other commuter vehicles.

My commuter car - VW Jetta TDI - is called LILDIESEL - how I feel driving that tiny thing.

My wifes Honda Ridgeline is GIRLTRUK - appropriate name

This is all when things are good ---- there are other names when the hoods are up. I never race jetskiis any more as it seems like I always run out of road before they run out of water :-laf

"What's the 'BS' for???"

It amazing how many people can't figure out what the BS is for on a livestock truck. :-laf :-laf :-laf

EDIT: WE also name all our tractors. Some of the names aren't very original, but hey, they work.

1953 AC WD45--"The 45"

Ford 600--Two names, "little boy blue" and "little ford"--sold 10years ago

Ford 5600--Used to be "big ford", now it's the "little ford"

Ford 8700--"Big Ford"

New Holland 6610--"Floader"--'cause it's a Ford Loader, and it has big tires :D

CIH 9130--"Four Wheeler"

My brother's '85 chevy is the "S$#^mobile. " Some movie has the line, "Ding, Ding, here comes the S$#^mobile". Fits his truck perfectly. :-laf

When I first got my truck, my then 4-year-old grandson named it "Clifford the big red truck". It stuck and everyone calls it Clifford.

He's 6 now and lives with us. He also claims it's his truck and can't wait until he's old enough to drive it so he doesn't have to let me! :-laf
