Me and my 3 year old son call the 04. 5 "the blue windbag" and my 98 "big old greener. " He will ask anyone if there truck is faster than big old greener. It is kinda funny. The 04. 5 is named the windbag... ... because it is a windbag compared to the 98! LOL

Black Beauty

I drove an 85 Ford one ton with a utility bed for several years until I blew up the diesel engine twice. I called it Big Red as it was red all over. My wife had a motto: anything Big Red needs it gets right now and then we will see if there is any money left over at the end of the month to see if she can buy her a new dress. My new 05 2500 4dr lwb is called Black Beauty. I refer to the 97 Suburban as the limo and my 90 Miata as little Red.

The single members will want to know if she has a sister. :D

3 more sisters

The wife has 3 sisters. All married though. I have a one in a million. She thinks I spend too much on my toys but she puts up with it. I like messing with old cars but I am down to just 4 right now. I sold a 57 T-Bird, a 37 Chevy truck, frame off restoration, and a 68 Mercury Cyclone. I have two 72 Dodges left. Both bought new in the family. The Swinger is like brand new with a 318 that a little ol lady school teacher drove and has 59,000 original miles and the other is the big brother. A 1/2 ton Adventure Sport with 79,000 miles and still original paint. Sorry guys.

I don't name my machines, never have. But sometimes I name my projects. My truck, which is a project in itself, is called "Project Big Iron".

My '85 Bronco II, also a project, was called "Project Bad Monkey".

-Ryan :)

My last truck was named "Ford". At times, I gave it other nicknames, and they also had four letters. ;)

So far this truck has not needed a name yet. :)

Gary

Well, mine was easy. 9000# of 4X4 1 ton dually, Flame Red, 6 speed. "BIG RED". And the wife's Dakota is "Junior".

My father-in-law recently passed. He affectionately called my 01 "The Coffee Grinder". My daughters called it "The Power Wagon" as I has the stainless Power Wagon name plates on the tailgate.

Well, since my Airstream is named Lazarus (the restoration guys brought it back from the dead), I think that a good name for my 05 Ram would be Christ... that way I can say that I'm using Christ to pull Lazarus. Besides, everytime I drive my truck I always say, "Christ, I love this truck!". :-laf

This one's pretty obvious... ... ...

Can't leave out my wife's rig.

Also have a short box 78' ford F100 sitting in the yard waiting for it's transformation into a speedy little drag truck, but for now it's brown and my kids and wife call it "Fugly".
