Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Truck needs help

A friend of mind has a 97 2500 5 speed stock ,that he bought thru a auction. It was missing a lot of the relays under the hood and starter. Replaced the relays from a truck that was gas powered and truck starts ok ... . but ..... here is the problem. No tach, no speedo, alternator does not charge, wait light dont come on..... ideas? also truck was wrecked and fan eat some of the wires under the radiator... . think I got them all back together right but ??????

The no charge and no instruments sounds like a problem with the engine speed sensor or related wiring. On my '94 it is located on the crankshaft pulley below the water pump. With that much going on with missing parts and the wreck a Dodge shop manual would be the first thing to get. You really won't need the grid heaters working in Fla.
