truck not towing like it should

i towed my car from pittsburgh to dillburgh(about 200 miles alot of hills)and the truck really had a hard time making it up some of those hills and keeeping up to 75 on the highway the egts were around 900-1200 up hill :{ what would you guys think could cause that the fuel plate?

If the thermocouple is is in the exhaust manifold, the EGTs are OK. It'll run there all day without problems.



Do you have an auto or manual transmission?

i have a auto :{ i could of put it in the 1400 range very easily but i stayed of of it.
