Here are some updated pics with the new RanchHand Bumpers... . Tell me what you think about the Stainless Steel Rock Guards... I am contemplating taking them and the headache rack off in the near future, and the tool box and westin steps will be coated with Line-X... .

the stainless panels are awesome!!

what brand did you buy?

i have been thinking about getting them for my truck.

red is definately where its at.

Red is my favorite color, bumpers look real nice, I have never liked the stainless panels on the trucks, headache rack looks ok, I can see where you may want to switch to black for the tube steps, headache rack and box though, it would match better with the bumpers.

I'm with Forrest. I'm not personally that fond of all that polished stainless running down the side. Especially since the bumpers are black now (They look good!!!). I'd also do the Rhino on the steps and toolbox. I've seen it done and it looks awesome.

Heck you might as well go all the way and rhino the grill. I was going to Rhino the plastic bumper cover on mine. I like the way the black looks on the Power Wagon.

Okay - this may be a stupid suggestion, but that's me . . .

I always thought coating the rocker panels with spray-on bedliner was cool, but I didn't like the idea of doing something that permanent to the paint. What would those rocker panels look like Line-Xed to match the other stuff? Since you already own them, and might take them off anyway, a little experimentation might be in order.

That might be worth a shot... I will give it some thought and get back to ya' :D

looks good!! i just had a browns welding front bumper replacement put on the truck this last week to match my ranch hand 10" cowboy rear replacement. i'll post pics once i get home.....

Bumpers are pretty decent, but Id ditch the step tubes, rocker panels, and headache rack. Get that tool box black somehow, and now you're talkin.

Those "Big" bumpers serve a purpose. Not just for "looks".

They have a ton of whitetail deer running around Texas. You hit one with the stock bumpers and you're looking at $3/4000. 00 worth of damage. With those bumpers, the deer just bounce off the bumpers and you keep on going down the road. No damage.

If you are buying the bumpers more for protection than looks, you might want to check to see how thick the main metal pipe is. They used to use a schedule 40 pipe that was strong, but heavy. Some manufactures are using a much thinner material, now. Lightens them up, but I think they are probably not as strong.

At the SEMA Show, last year, I even saw them made out of a very light composite material. You could easily pick it up by yourself. Not so, with the schedule 40 ones. I wonder what a deer would do to those lightweight or composite bumpers?

I like the looks of your Ranchhands! I have a set of Brown's Welding bumpers on my old '91. 5 W-250. Really like them, also.

Hope this helps. Just be sure you know what you are looking for.
