On a trip from Colorado my truck developed the dead pedal in Missouri. I got it going again then it happened again in WV. I pulled the codes from the odometer. I got PCU 1693 & ECU 0121 & 0216. I know the 0216 is for the injector pump. Does anyone know what the other 2 codes are? Thanks Jeff

Thanks Mad Bomber. My mileage is 76,500. This will be my 2nd VP pump. Going to call the dealer this morning. Thanks again Jeff

Sorry about your troubles, I've got almost the same # of miles on mine76600. Have you done any upgradged to your fuel system? Bigger lines, pusher pump, run a good additive, fuel gauge? If not you might want to right after the new VP. I'm still on the 1st VP and bombed it with a comp at 10K and of course with the wire :-laf

They replaced the lift pump before the VP. I have a pressure gauge but it hasn't worked for quite a while. I will have to get it fixed after I have the truck fixed. The dealer was closed today so I'll have to call tomorrow. Once I'm out of warrantee I'll look to do something with the fuel system if it starts to go south again. Jeff

I dropped the truck off yesterday for them to look at it today. I called when I got home. My LP isn't flowing enough fuel so they are replacing it with the in tank pump. He said it was flowing around 30 and it should have been 45. I'm assuming that is gph. They are also replacing the apps to see if that takes care of the problem. I will let you know how it works out. Jeff

No the 30 is ounce in the test. From everyone I've heard those in tank pumps barly keep up with a stock truck and with a bombed truck :{

Jeff, Had the Same exact problem (dead pedal) at about 68 k Got the new Vp44 and the new in the tank LP. . underwarrenty almost 73k Now No problems at all. . good luck. .

Just got my truck back today. They installed the in tank pump and a APPS. The truck seems more responsive than before I dropped it off to be fixed. I'm hoping to get my pressure gauge fixed this weekend. Thanks for all the posts. Jeff

My truck didn't want to start this morning. I found a fuel leak at the rubber hose by the injector pump. I twisted the hose and got it to stop leaking. There was a small piece of metal sticking out the end of the hose. It looked like a sleeve of some sort. Anyone know what it might be? I checked codes again. I got P0234. Can someone tell what that code is? Thanks for all your help. Jeff
