I've been reading all these posts about people having the same problems - brake pull, steering wander, lift pump failure etc, etc.

I'm not totally convinced that some of these 'failures' are not self fulfilling prophecy but that is another topic... . somebody else is having lift pump problems so I must be having them too.

Anyhow, my point - has anybody compiled a list of the VIN #'s and build locations for the trucks that have DOCUMENTED problems? That is the beauty of the web - access to all you people so that a pattern can be established and the root caused identified. DC advertises the TDR in its brochures, certainly they will listen to TDR members if the information is compiled and presented in a usable format. I'm sure DC has the info in their vast computer never, never land but that doesn't mean they are going to do anything with it.

Is it possible to set up a page on the site to compile this info? I'm thinking VIN, build location, problem, repair order number(s), dealer etc, etc - help DC help us.

Maybe this already exists, maybe not.

I haven't seen one. Fritz's page would be the closest with the TSBs.

I think that the lift pump, fuel pump problems have been worked out. These were listed in TSBs along with the few Cummins with bad camshafts. This is not unusual, unfortunately, for any manufacturer.

This is an excellent Idea. If it will get DC attention to maybe help with specfic problems it would be great. Maybe get some help on the steering problem because it sucks big time!!!

Yes. Great idea. If someone other than Chysler holds the info in an organized format for public use, more rapid, positive results on common complaints might well follow. I would certainly participate. But how to get started? I seem to recall one of the Moderators started a survey a while back. Maybe again on this topic? Another question. Even if all TDR members participated, would that be a sufficiently large representation of DC owners to be convincing? Does anyone know how many DC's in total have been sold in North America?

Dodge Ram Problems,Whats the Pattern?

Well for me,
The Pattern was> Every time I took my truck into the dealer to have it fixed for something small. I would come back with something bigger broken! #ad
Called DC about HADDAD DODGE, DC Did'nt care.

I stopped taking it to HADDAD DODGE in BAKERSFIELD Ca. And the Pattern stopped. !
Otherwise, the Truck has been almost Flawless as long as I or Cummins West Or San Joaquin Dodge in Taft Ca works on it!

So as far as DC Cancelling My Warranty Like JNutters Post, Who Cares?. They are just doing me a favor!. The DC Techs are the Worst Bunch of Grease Moneys I have ever seen.
Even the Oil Changing Morons a Walmart are better the HADDAD DODGE's so called "Techs"

I am selling DC back Extended warranty,
Because Like with Most Domestic Brands, There are Nothing but Idiots working for Ford,GM,Chrysler.
Seems Like they Hire a Direct reflection of themselves! #ad

Thats My Opinion and Expirences with DC. Not a Very Pretty one either.

If I were on a Jury to convict a HADDAD DODGE Customer for Going "Postal", I realy don't think I could Convict Him/Her. #ad

Paybacks are a "You know what"

Doug.

Unfortunately, I think the do'er will be the webmaster. I know he's a busy guy.

If you check out Thumpertalk.com they have a jetting page & personal info page that you can put your info on. that's the kind of thing I'm thinking. It would be pretty easy to bring the data into Excel or Access and sort by VIN or build location.
