"Houston, I think we have a problem here" Formula I made three posts this morning (this will be the 4th) and on the first two posts my profile was on there and on the last one, for some strange reason, did not appear with my post. I just previewed this post and see that my profile is on this particular post. BUSHWKR ... . you out there...

Braveair,

Before you submit your post, check the little box at the bottom that asks you if you want to show you signature. I think the software that runs the forums has some method of determining if it will show your sig by default or not, like if you're replying to a thread that you've recently replied to then it won't show your sig. You can always opt to turn it on or off yourself though. Hope this helps.

Formula, I did all three posts the same way ... did'nt even think about it until I read your thread then went back to check. I have my signature optioned as "on". Don't know why it arbitrarily did'nt show up on one of the posts. I don't want to say software glitch... . but, well there I've said it.

I believe for purposes of not filling up the servers with redundant information, your sig is only going to show up once in a thread (if you select to) and after that, even if you have it checked to show your sig, it will not show up. Clear as mud?

hummmm... . I see what you're talking about... ... the show sig box is checked and no sig is shown... ...



If you're gonna take the wrenches to yer computer, you may want to make a post about this in the "website/roundtable" forum. I've got a nice 16lb sledgehammer if the wrenches don't work

Formula, I just doublechecked everything and it's enabled. I hit submit changes just to see if that would make a difference... . hhhmmmm... lets preview... ... Okay it's in the preview and the signature box is checked... ... here we go again... ... a drum roll please. .

tpcdrafting is correct. Braveair - I just looked at your posts that you made in the last couple of days. Your signature will only show on the first post that you made on a page to save bandwidth. If you look at your posts where your signature didn't show up and scroll up you'll see that you had already posted on that thread on that page and that your signature is shown on that post.

Thanks Steve,... ... ... Sorry guys, Steve beat me too it today. I was last on at about 1:00AM today and not since then... until now of course. The change to the signature attachment was done around the time of limiting signature size as well. If it's too big, it won't take the sig until you trim it down a bit. Same goes for picture posting and duplication of pics.

Doing all this also helps make it a bit easier for the dial-up users in particular so that the site doesn't get bogged down.
