Truck pull Donnelson, IA

First of 4 pulls this year in Donnelson. 2 diesel classes both 8000 LBS

Street Diesel- stock turbo, no fuel pumps (pushers) no hanging front weight, Pro Diesel- Run what you brung- twins,drugs etc.

Nothing like Leaving out the most important information. Saturday June 10th at 6:30pm Oo.

Where is Donnelson ?

It is Located in the very southeast corner of Iowa. Approximately 1 1/2 hours south of Iowa City on Highway 218.



The other dates are July 9th, August 20th, October 7th

2nd Pull

Round 2 in Donnelson is Sunday July 9th at 6:30. First pulls were rained out, i expect this one to be a decent show.

Don't forget the pulls in Fairfield on Friday (7th) night.



Aiming to come for both. At least as long this next week isn't as nuts as this one.

I will not be pulling in Fairfield, IA. My county fair is that night. I plan on running a farm stock tractor :-laf and my truck there. (Henderson County Fair- Stronghurst, IL)

You aren't all that far from me, then. Made a lot of seed deliveries around the Maconb/Carthage area this past spring.

I'm hoping to be down for the Friday night pulls. May need to work Satuday, though. If that is the case, I'll have to decide if I want to make the trip twice, to make both, or just Donnellson.

Ah, RPA is Mr. Randall. Now I made the connection. :-laf He and I need to talk about turbos. Need to pick his brain a little.





What are the directions to get to the pulls in Fairfield? It looks like I accidentally deleted that email.

I would be more than happy to talk turbos, I also have a buddy with a 12 valve that pobably would like to talk to you about you injectors. He will be pulling in Donnelson depending on how well friday night goes.

Just drive through Fairfield on Highway 34 until you see the traffic jamb!! :-laf The fairgrounds are on 34 just before you get to the Deere Dealer on the south side. You can park somewere on 34 or maybe in the fairgrounds, or you could just drive down the the Chevy/Ford dealer, turn south like you are coming to our house, then take the first left(just after the Church) and you could drive right into the pits.



Will you be hooking up the Beast Mr Moeller? I think you should. Your daily driver would probably whoop up on my pulling truck!

Thanks for the directions.



I don't know if I'd whoop on you or not. Still have stock governor springs and no mystery switch. I'd have to stay out of 3rd gear, to prevent TC lockup. Do have ~800ft/tq at hand, so you never know. Ladder bars or blocked suspension would probably be a good idea, though. Don't have either. Have plenty of axle wrap on the road as it is.
