Truck pull in New Haven,VT

The truck weighs 8k on the nose with weight added. I run a single charger and some extra fuel

340' was the 2nd pull..... I figure the 1st was @ 3. 5 sled lengths past 300' before I shut it down (they told me floating finish). Oh well I had fun and it was a benefit pull.

Ivan, is that the same truck you had at Saratoga 2 years ago when you came in second behind Tom? I was thinking that was a 24 valve for some reason. Do you want to sponsor me? I could use a locker and some traction bars I was at Saratoga and came in 4th that time behind the Duramax, I ran 3rd low when I should've ran 4th low.

Yep, same truck, just with a few different mods to say the least and a clutch to back it up. That pull in Saratoga was fun, 1st one with this truck, nothing like tightening bolts at the track to finish mods. I killed the "HD LUK clutch" in one run. I still run 3rd gear low, I don't think I could get 4th low with out beating the **** out of the clutch and having it fall on its face.



I can make you some bars for that rig, no problem.

I asked Olee if he sold you a clutch after he mentioned you in a thread a while back. This year I made it to Washington County and Schaghticoke, I made a full pull in Greenwich but we got stopped due to rain before the pull off, to bad too since I've got Mud Terrains and in Schaghticoke I came in second behind a Duramax from Vermont.



I hope to make it to alot more pulls next year, I just picked up an 06 so I've got something to tow the 01 home with if I break it and I don't have to worry about getting to work the next day.



Do you have DOM tubing? I'd love to make some bars myself but I need to find materials. I have 4. 10 gears so I seem to do ok with running 4th low with the 255/85 MT's but I need to make sure I get the tires planted. I'll slap the name 4-sight on the side of my truck! Want to go spank them together?



By the way that was my 4th pull with my truck in Saratoga two years ago but my first with the dual disk, with Saratoga being pretty sandy I know 4th would've done nice but at that time 3rd was the highest I had pulled and I ruined the stock clutch doing that so I stayed with that.
