Well, for those of you who do not live in Southeastern Indiana, or for those of you whos friends have not informed you. There have been some pretty good pulls going on around here at the county fairs.
I first found out about the pulls at Rising Sun, IN (Ohio County 4-H fair) from a buddy that toted his uncles antique tractor to a pull, and noticed Scheid and Haisley show up. I quickly loaded and went to the fair. For $5 bucks I got to see about 15 trucks pull, and loved every minute of it. That was on Friday July 9. Oh by the way, the Ford guys didnt like the looks of the competition, and prosuaded the officials to form a "county class" basically comprised of ALL the Fords, and just one Dodge. Cant remember the fella's name, but he is from there in Rising Sun. I whitnessed his diesel addiction start at Scheids Diesel Extravaganza this past year. He did very well. Beat all the Fords!!!
On Tuesday July 13, I ventured out to the Decatur County 4-H fair in Greensburg, IN. After waiting out the rain at a local establishment with a pitcher of margaritas we ventured back to the track to watch countless 1066 IH's. Then 4 unlimited trucks, and just one 6. slow pull. Several of my friends wanting to pull, but werent allowed to pull because of no shut off switch. But then the 6. 0. Oh well, he did nothign but humiliate himself.
So basically I guess I am saying, if you havnt been to Indiana in a while, we are trying to proove that saying correct - "Theres more than corn in Indiana"
Mabye we can use this thread as a "Schedule" to know when and where the "boys from Indiana" are goign to be pulling.
