Truck quit running

I have looked through the threads on the lift pump going bad, and understand that they do go bad without warning, if i replace this with the in tank pump will i have to replace the injector pump? I drove the truck all day today and tonight it just quit. I have always heard the pump just before starting and now i hear silence.

No, the Cp3 pump 99% of the times is not hurt when the lift pump dies... . I ran mine dry a few times when I got a bad batch of fuel before I installed a gauage to see what was happening.....

Can I install a BD Lift Pump Kit as a replacement?

Installed the new pump (BD Lift pump) and works great, I did notice a increase in acceleration from 45-80mph, I guess if you start to notice a lag in HP might want to take a closer look at this pump. No more than a 2 hour process to remove old and replace new.
