hi guys,

i'm looking for a set of ramps for my trucks so that i don't have to jack or crawl under them anymore . the set i'm thinking of had straps that you would unroll inline w/ each side of the tire's track so that when you started up the ramps you would drive over each strap and they would act as anchors by being pinned by the rear wheels to hold the ramps still instead of pushing them. hope this is clear enough <G>,

thanks,

steve

Sears?

I have an extra heavy duty set I got at Sears. Each ramp has two pieces: the incline ramp actually comes off after driving onto them for more manuevering. My set cost over $100.

BTW, us 4X4 guys don't need 'em. If you're in TX, I'll let 'em go cheap.

thanks, but i'm in st. louis... you didn't say but do yours have the straps that you roll on to secure ramps? if so i'll check my local sears store,

thanks again,

steve

No Straps. it has welded stops on the ends. I always performed on level ground, used spotter while driving on, set parking brake, left in gear and placed stops pehind rear wheels.

These are the stoutest I've seen. Check your local Sears.
