well i had the factory muffler cut out, i still have my cat and just behind it is a short aeroturbine. thing is tough sounding. spool up seems the same to me... no drone that i have noticed so far. man does he bark though when i punch it.



had the install done by Dunks Performance in Springfield Oregon. great family and i will go back any time.

Hey Jrissler i think the pull is in two weeks, ill ask my buddy when it is and let ya know for sure!! I live about 5min. out side of mcconnellsburg twards Hustontown, i have family that lives there also out on Clear Ridge! I would sure like to here that straight piped 06 ! DO u know where Knobsville is out 522?

well i was rather shocked yesteday and today... my old man (57) who is a "if it works leave it alone" kind of FRUGAL person... retired chemical eng. who likes to tinker, but thinks cars and trucks are fine stock... his thing is road bicycles...



he heard it on start up and drive off, then he went with me to fred meyers today...



"now this sounds liek a diesel, good choice son, not too loud under normal driving and roars just enough when you are on it"



my jaw hit the floor... . now i know i like it.



oh, and some little nissan sentra decided he wanted to see how loud it was as i left him from a rolling start... . ;-)

Is your exhaust out the back or is it out the side of the truck? What is the part # on that aeroturbine?

stock exhaust in every way but the aero, the model from aero is a 4040. it is the shorter version of most aeros used on the diesels. 4 inches in and out and about 12 inches long... just eyeballing it...
