It mite not be your crank position sensor. It could be bad wires going to pcm/ecm from sensor. If you google it there are some threads from other forums. Tried to reply last nite but the newer computer was being a pain, so I'm using the old one ( going to see if I can get the new one back on line). You could try to spray out connector with contact cleaner (it always get my back up switch going again). I use the cleaner from home depot, get the lubricating one and drying one. Spray connectors down with the lube one first, let set a few minutes, then spray the dry stuff on it ( I know the instructions on the cans are different than mine but I'm very bad about following instruct ions).
