Truck shudders when stopping

I believe that Jetson has a good approach. I'm not familiar with 4 wheel ASB, but seems logical to me if all you need to do is pull the fuse to disable it, why not give it a try. If you would like I can check my manual for my 97 and see if there is a diagnostic chart for the ABS system and send you a copy by e-mail. I'm sure the shop has done everything the manual has suggested, but maybe it will be of some use.

deboer- I haven't been keeping up with this thread until today. I have not had this problem yet with my truck, but one thing comes to mind that was not included in your list of "things already done". I am not sure, but I think there is a proportioning valve in the brake system which controls the hydraulic pressure between the front wheels and the back wheels. If this were to be failed or on its way I think it could cause some strange symptoms. HTH

Well I started this post back in August but my brake problems really started back in April or May. The brakes pulled I posted this on the old CDW site. I have been back to the dealer 5 times for brake pull or brake shudder as you can see from my previous posts. Well the truck is back in the hospital again for brake pull and brake shudder AGAIN!

I'm driving a rental car a Plymouth Breeze. Don't like it, been driving pickups since the 70s so I'm not too happy driving this rental. Too quiet almost fall asleep on the way to work.

I have no news as to a fix but will let you know when I get my truck back Just hope they fix it. They know if they can't fix it I want a new truck. But this one has grown on me, you know has it's own personality so I hope they can fix it.
