Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) truck shutter

Recently I noticed that when i gradually apply the throttle my truck shutters. Especially on inclines. At first I thought it was the trans slipping, since it is bone stock. Then I thought it might be a throttle position sensor. I am not sure what it could be. It does not do it under normal driving conditions. even when you floor it, it's fine.



It also did it when I was pulling the sled, the RPM's jump 200Rpm during this time??



Does anybody have an idea what this could be???

It has something to do with the throttle linkage to the transmission. Kickdown cable out of adjustment or something of that nature. I can't remember exactly but mine has done it too a few times. Something to do with the linkage to the trans not being set correct, too tight or too loose. Maybe somebody else will reply with the answer.

Dude, I think it's your transmission, most likely the tc. Mine did the same thing and that is what it was.
