I've noticed that my truck appears to be sitting a little lopsidded. I have it parked on what looks like level ground, but the left side of the truck measured from the back wheels is sitting an inch higher. Has anyone experienced this?

I have noticed that myself but have not had a chance to measure. Every time i saw it I was questioning if I was actually on level ground. I'll look at my truck later tonight.

My 01. 5 sits about an inch higher on the Right side (rear facing)

It has since the day I've owned it.

One of these days I'm going to get new rear springs to fix it. (and get rid of those pesky Blocks too ;) )

I asked them 5 years ago. They won't do a darn thing unless it's over 2inches difference measured fender to ground. ( I believe)

I've been on hold with the local Dodge dealer for 35mins now. Gonna see what they have to say about it.

My 05 had the same thing.

The dealer has a little form which has an illustration on it looking like a truck bed with respect to the cab with a bunch of places to take measurements.

They took a bunch of measurements of mine and send it off to dc, that was 18 months ago and still haven't heard from them. Do yourself a favor and stop looking at it, thats what I did and it seemed to settle out level.

I thank they do this taking into account the weight of the fuel tank and the driver.

Mac

With an empty tank and no driver, the truck will sit high on the drivers side. With a full fuel load and a driver, it'll sit level or a little low on the drivers side ... ... ... by design

That sure is weird! I'm still waiting to talk to the dealer, but I expect I'll just have to learn to live with it or quit looking at it.

mine too. my family kept telling me im nuts. it changes depending on where it is sitting i measure from the top center of the tire to the fender well and it can be up to an inch + down to about a half but it is always higher on the drivers side. i never noticed this with my 01 or 03.

When my 93 was new the dealer did some front end work on it and told me the spring on the drivers side was a different p/n because it was just a bit stiffer than the passenger side. He went on to compare it to the chevy's that eventually list to the drivers side and exclaimed the Dodge will never do that. He was rite, I had one of those leaning chevy's (9years old) and when i sold my first gen after 10 years, it still sat level. I can only assume the third gens carry on that design.
