Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Truck Sputtering, error codes

I thought that I would post these in a new thread in the hopes that more would view. This is from the earlier thread, "Truck sputtering at half throttle"



I now have the codes and am wondering what the fix might be.



PO251 Injection pump metering control A

PO252 Injection pump metering control A Range/Performance

P1688 Manufacture control auxiliary inputs Auxiliary outputs



Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I have certainly gotten my moneys worth and then some from this sight. You guys have been great.

Pat, Your vp44 injection pump is on its last legs, it could leave you walking at any time

It's not computer related?

The vp44 electronics are internal to the pump. This is a pretty easy one to figure out

I don't mean to sound ignorant, but can I assume then that these codes are directly associated to the pump and nothing else in the system.
