02 2500 with 117k no codes, fuel pressure at 9 psi, has new vp44 and lift pump installed installed 11 mo ago. . cranks but no start. could it be cam position sensor? crank position sensor ? need help

Try hot wiring the VP44 to eliminate anything outside of it. Do a search here on the forum for the words "hot wire VP44" and you should be able to find instructions on how to do this... it's been covered many times.

If it won't start and run with the VP44 hot wired, then the VP44 is likely bad. They do sometimes fail without warning or trouble codes.

If you've only had the VP44 11 months, it should still be covered under Bosch's one year unlimited mileage warranty. Where did you buy it?

Good luck,

John L.

You've probably already done this but how many miles does the odometer or overhead read out say are on this tank of fuel?

thanks for the ideas found both batteries had loose ground cables, rt side I could take off by hand ,cleaned cables and retightened started up and no futher problems, also seems to have better power and start up
