Ok guys... heres the deal. I was backing up in my drivway to hook up the boat, and about halfway up the driveway my truck just turned itself off. Though she started right back up once I cycled the key. Then I get the boat hooked up and head out to the lake. As I am backing down to launch my boat, my truck stalled in Reverse again. So I started her right back up. I backed down the rest of the way and get my boat in the water. I put my Emergency brake on and put the truck in Neutral. Truck stalled again. So I started her up again, and put her in Park, stalled again.
So I let my truck rest for a minute as we launched out boat. I tied the boat up and left the wife there with it... wanting to get my truck parked. After the truck sat for a minute she was fine, she didn't stall for the rest of the day. So as soon as I got it home I decided that I better change the fuel filter (I changed it about 4000 miles before). I haven't noticed a problem yet... though I only drive it about 5 miles after changing the fuel fiter. I am hoping it was either a bad filter or maybe bad fuel. . and nothing worse.
Any ideas on why my truck would just start stalling?
Thanks
Kev
